High-Cap Match @ Ponca City R&PC, Saturday, April 30

I'll throw my 2 cents into the pot as well and say thanks to all the women and men who put on the match today. Things ran pretty smoothly after we got started and all the stages were a hoot to shoot. And of course the group of guys we shot with helped make it all that much more fun. I need to invest in a mag loader before another match like this, my thumbs are sore.

It's a pretty long drive from Duncan to Ponca City, but we made it just fine with the help of a strong tail wind. But to get to shoot a spinning plate rack, the star and the magical steel at Ponca was good times.

Don't know where the rest of you guys were but we had a good time without you!

Is it allowed to ask what kind of gun Eric ran?

Michael, I don't know too many details about Eric's gun other than it's a very good running open class 2011... Eric, like many of our local guys, is a very solid shooter! There is so much shooting talent in this state...

I could hear him shooting on the other side of the berms. It was so rhythmic, it was distinctive. All of that ='s fast.

Holy smokes, looking at the match scores, Lance shot one hell of a match with iron sights! 4th OA, 170pts behind the match winner who shot open and 200pts above the next Limited shooter! Great job to everyone. I would've liked to shoot this match rather then being sun burnt.
