I am just sitting here in a quandry, not far from Oklahoma City. Just how do we get more of the revolver shooters to come out and play. It doesn't matter which game in general but I would like to see more in USPSA and ICORE. Mostly because those are the games I play. I don't shoot IDPA because there are only 4 weekends a month. On the ocassional 5th Saturday I am in Ada shooting Steel. Well more like shooting at steel. What can I do to get you out to the matches. OKC, USSA? I shoot at both places as it is a trip to either one for me. Give me your feedback, and don't worry I have my flame retardent Haynes on. later rdd

I'd shoot them but the cost of centerfire ammo pretty much limits my involvement to .22 rimfire events. I simply don't have the extra funds to blow through $50 of ammo + entry fees for an event. Dennis Shoddy and I have exchanged PM's talking about 2-gun rimfire competitions but it seems there is no interest here as it isn't 3-gun. Too bad as we both think it would be a way to get more shooters involved, especially those who are college age who have to deal with limited resources and those others (retirees) with fixed incomes.

BS may be the "premier competition" site... but it seems to be lagging in coming up with ways to get new shooters involved in the sport. As a result, the forum's growth will eventually plateau in my opinion. It's a great site regardless and it's better than the alternative.

I'm a HUGE revolver fan. Only problem is, I only have one revolver at the moment, and a 10.5" Ruger SBH .44 mag would SUCK in these types of competitions!
