that looks awesome man. i noticed a lot you on here have the long hand guards with no rails on them. is this style advantageous to the rifle matches you all shoot?

Thanks! I am stoked. I shot a few rounds through it with no scope and it was flat! This handguard is 14.5" long. I like the long handguard so I can get my support hand out far on the rifle to help drive the gun side to side as fast as possible. I would like a 16" handguard but I haven't seen one of those yet.

Looks nice Jesse. Very Nice. On a side note Adam P. asked about you when I was in Houston Tuesday.

Thats good that you have this LOKI, that means I'll have a better chance of getting the one from the LOKI build

No LMOS? You got screwed!!
I am gonna run the stock setup for awhile to give it a good T&E. Then I'll write a review on the OEM package and start tweaking it with aftermarket go faster parts. I'm hoping I can help give input so LOKI can build a 3 gun specific package with a few options for individual preferences.

longest handguard i have seen is a 15", rifle looks cool.

Carbon Arms is marketing a 15" carbon fiber tube that goes on a JP/VTAC nut. That nut is an inch long so you are out to 16".

Quad railed handguards in my opinion serve no purpose; they are heavy, good ones are expensive, and most people end up covering the rails with panels anyway since they aren't real fun to hold on to and shoot.

You can add rails to the JP forend all you want for mounting gizmos without all the drawbacks of having a railed forend. The carbon fiber FF tubes in comparison are silly light, will not heat up from use, and last time I checked very reasonably priced.

Maybe someone who needs all that stuff on the rifle will have a different opinion, but the only thing I could ever want to mount is a light, and I can easily do that with rail sections on a JP forend.
