I picked up my first AR. Rock River Arms. Shoots very well considering the horrendous trigger pull. I'm so used to very light precision triggers for long range stuff that it makes this one feel like I need to :38: to make it go off. It measured at @ 9.5 pounds.
I need to know what you guys think. I don't really want to drop 200 bones on a new trigger right now. I need to find a good deal on a FF hand guard and optics.....and bullets first.
I have been reading and watching all the stuff about fixing the stock triggers by polishing the contact points and switching out the springs for lighter ones.
Has anyone here done this with success?
Will it become unreliable?
Does anyone have a jp trigger laying around?
thanks guys
Matt
