Diamondback 380?

I went and looked at one of these yesterday. It is small and thin. I liked the way it felt, and it would make a perfect carry gun. Has any of you guys had, or have one? Just wonder about how reliable they are, and how the trigger is. Thanks guys.

I have a buddy that owns one. The trigger is meh... about the standard double action triggers you find in most pocket 380's. It's definately on par with the Kahr p380. The only thing it lacks, if my memory serves me correctly, is the lack of slide lock after the last round. By far the best pocket .380 I've fired is the S&W BG380. The laser is more of a gimmick, but the build quality and sights that come standard are the best out of the pocket .380's I've handled.

There was a guy who did a torture test (of sorts) on a website somewhere. I'll see if I can find it. PS then he sold the gun so take that for what its worth.

I tested one out, and kept getting slide bite from it. Just enough to keep it from loading the next round.

Thanks for the help guys. I knew the price was right on them, but I am always scared to try something like that. I think I will pass on it.

I think the S&W is very built well, but the sights are poor, the laser is a gimmick as you said, but the trigger completely sucks. Its a mile long and not smooth at all. The Kahr trigger is completely smooth and consistant the whole way thru. I would take the Kahr over the S&W bodyguard anyday.

Will do. I have been tempted to get one while they are on sale. The first thing that turned me off was the finish. The new one on display had been worn off in places just from people playing with it in the store. It would be a cheap carry gun. I just want to know that it is going to work when I need it.

I'm actually the guy who did the torture test on youtube (Diamondback DB380 Extreme Measures). Yes I know all the mistakes I made but all in all it's my favorite pocket pistol. I sold the gun I did the review with then ended up buying another one. I like it.
