I would be in for some basic AR parts since I'm starting an AR build soon. AR Magazines, .223 ammo and stuff like belts for holding what gear I have would be awesome.

Since there have been a lot of lower group buys, how about a LPK group buy?

They tried that and it tanked. I still say ammo is the buy to make. I need some brass cased stuff to break in my new AR build. I'd jump for some steel cased if the price was right though.

Somebody needs to make a summary of what we all have posted here and keep it running so we can see what everybody wants. Volunteers???

Brandon may have a line on some brass cased 223 for under $300 per thousand. We are checking into seeing the shipping cost is going to ruin the deal or not. With a 10 case minimum order we almost have to have a forklift to get that unloaded.

The beautiful part is that you can mix and match calibers and order 500 at a time.:D

I wouldn't mind 500 .223 and 500 45acp. OR if needs be and the bank account allows I would just go 1000 brass .223. Schools teachers don't make the same money you rich, professional gun guys do! LOL. I'll be interested to see where this Idea goes. Red River Ammo is tooling up to do .223 soon as well.

I can honestly say that threads like this one really make me just want to quit doing group buys for members. Seems like there are a few unappreciative members out there and I am sorry.

Oh I wouldn't be quite so sensitive if I were you. Most of us were blowing off a little steam from frustration. Personally I think 6 weeks has been mildly excessive. I still contend it was just bad timing. They were moving, the shitty weather, so forth. Don't let the arfcom chat get you down. The bark is worse than the bite. :D

Oh trust me it doesn't. What pisses me off is people that are unappreciative. You are getting a lower at $63 dollars vs $100 plus tax locally. You are not having to pay ANY FFL TRANSFER. The final day for payment was Friday Jan 7th, and I mailed the money off on Monday Jan 9th - the lowers were received on Monday January 31st - that is not 6 weeks in my book. Red River Ammo has not been open since Monday to even do the transfers - the roads are still not the prettiest and not everyone has a 4x4 to plow through it.

When you do a group buy you realize that they take time. If you need something the next day - you do not sign up for a group buy.

Amen to that. I have learned that one the hard way. I needed that thing three weeks ago. My error for trying to get off cheap. Live and learn I suppose. Trust me from now on I do the getting on my own.

You look like an ass bro!

I, for one, am very appreciative of the group buys and all of the effort that go into them. I would not get involved in a GB if what I needed was even remotely time sensitive. I can only imagine the amount of work that goes into a GB. Some people seem to have no respect for those few members/admin that go out of their way to save us a buck. I get sick of those that will eat their own for fun. The shooting community has enough problems without our own treating each other poorly. JMO.
