Those are sweet. I have actually shot one of those. Our department has one, for what I have no idea! It's nice, but isn't every thing that goes fast nice, even if it's crappy!
I did realize that I got off course in my previous post, including thompsons and browning in a clearly marked "pistol" thread. So I guess I'd go with one of those old service 1911's, you know the original from the WWII era. I do mean original with combat use and the little scratches and flaws that just say to you that I have killed a german or two....well I was at least fired at one or something like that. However, I'd like to have some type of documentation that would show it was issued to such and such and he was in such and such at this time. I'm an old war gun junky I guess.
