My foray into the non-magnified divisions of multigun competition...20" stainless steel lightweight profile upper, JP LMOS, JP trigger, etc.

This rig is ridiculously light and pointy. My 18" upper with Rolling Thunder comp is almost as long as the 20" with the MSTN QC comp.

Chris and I will be using it at the Texas 2-gun champ next month. :)

sweet! What's accuracy like with the pencil barrel?

That's the big question. If it shoots 1.5 minute or less after I figure out what it likes I'll be happy. Zeroing it tomorrow and will report back.

It will be christened at the USSA match Saturday.

FYI...it is a Rock River SS National Match DCM, Wylde chamber, 1-8. I think it should be a tack driver.

Where'd you get it, and did you have it turned down? The RR NM barrels I'm seeing are heavy profile.

I bought it slightly used from one of the Rudy Project 3-gunners and yes it has been turned down. You won't be finding a 20" factory lightweight stainless barrel anywhere. :)

Got the gas system tuned up and zeroed it today. It shoots most of the factory ammo we tried pretty well; the Russian Brown Bear 55 gr. hollow point being one of the surprisingly more accurate ones. It hovers around 2" at 200 yards. Shooting a decent group with no magnification is a bit tricky, no fault of the rifle.

I'm not too ecstatic about the PRI comp. It works, but doesn't seem to be as effective as my Rolling Thunder. It will get swapped at some point.

Cool! How much did that run you if you don't mind? (getting it turned down)

This one was already done by the previous owner, but it's usually under a hundred bucks. Adco will turn one down under the HG for like $70. I'd just go locally, though, and take it to Baldwin. Don't know what he would charge, but I do know it would be reasonable.

You guys will see this rifle Saturday. :) I think it's going to be pretty fast...
