Additional Carry Gun Match @ Heartland Outdoors Sunday January 30th

Not that anyone cares what I am shooting but if someone was counting me as a snubby shooter, I changed my mind and I am going to shoot my 1911. Since this match will be a little lower round count, I can afford to shoot the big bullets this time :)
 
Craziest thing just happened. Tony from Velocity just called me! He's changing over his site and my order was placed right in the middle of the changeover and he didn't have a clear statement of what I ordered. After confirming what I ordered, I asked if there was any way he could get them to me by Saturday. He said ". No problem, I'll get em out today.". Gotta love great customer service. He is now forever in "my favorites" on the internets.

I won a M&P9 pistol form Velocity Shooter just by asking people to sign up on their website. Awesome!!! Tony is a hoot too. I had the pleasure of tipping a few back with him at the Pan Am shotgun match this past year. He is an intense individual for sure.

Ok, fine. I guess getting out of my comfort zone is a good thing. It sure opened my eyes the last time I jumped in.
 
I will be there again for sure. For those of you that haven't shot this match before you need to because it is great practice and a blast. My no good for nothing son-in-law talked me into coming to shoot my first match then he DQ'd me at it. What a tool!

I will say that I learned a valuable lesson from that first match and have been coming back ever since. This match has renewed my interest in shooting and firearms. I am hoping to get out to shoot more and take some classes as a result of shooting this match.
