Anybody see this? Lancer's got a new carbon fiber handguard coming. I'm definitely going to buy one or two, unless they are like PRI ($300+) expensive.

I've also got a DPMS rifle length carbon fiber tube and soon to have a Clark Custom free float tube. I'll do a write up when I get the chance. The DPMS and Clark tubes are very cheap, but they don't have the rails that the others do.

I don't like the fact that you have to glue the clark - but thats just me. That pdf looks killer wonder what the price is

That's the big question. You have to glue the DPMS as well, and it is just a tad heavier than the Clark, but about $20 cheaper.

I really dig the Lancer mags...good to see them branching out.

Oh I like that. I really like that.

Christensen Arms has a new CF handguard as well, and they know carbon fiber as well anyone. Not cheap, though.

For those interested, Bob Novak with Tech Wear has a direct replacement Carbon Fiber tube for the J.P. V-Tac handguard, both in regular length and extra extended length. Slips right on and bolts right up to the existing holes in the V-Tac and it is the IDENTICAL size so if you want rails and sights just fit the appropriate rail and play! KurtM

Ahhhh Senor Chambers I am like a Lemming...short legs so it takes awhile to get there, but when I do I jump right over with the rest of the cool cats! :P KurtM
