Waste of money. You don't need to scrape anything. Leave the tail of the bolt alone.

I'm not saying you're wrong, but I always scrape the tail of the bolt to a shiny surface when I clean my AR platform rifles. I don't consider myself meticulous at all and generally go a long time before cleaning. I've always been taught (military) to scrape the bolt well?
