Anyways I will test it out and see if it lives up to the Hype. It really is supposed to be a zero lube bolt for the life of the weapon. we shall see.

I don't understand the no lube thing? What is wrong with a little lube? I can see if you were in the sandbox or a really dusty environment where grime would cling to the lube. Just curious as I haven't read the reviews or the other stuff. Didn't Wormydong do a review on the fail zero coating in the gear section?

No - that was a Spikes Nickle Boron BCG he did one on...so we are expecting a full review with pics there Brett

OK when I get the gun together and going I will.

Jesse, The thing that appeals to me is I am building this gun for a home defense/SHTF and truck gun and everything else. I want to to be more than anything, Dependable! even If I have let to go too long and not Lubed the bolt. I know for the guys that run 3 gun and clean their rifle everyday even if they don't shoot it it won't make sense to them. I will do a review when I get the gun finished. It has about drained all my funds.

Neglect does make complete sense. I know I have my fair share of guns that don't know what oil feels like.

I would assume that a gun that is being relied on for home defense would get a regular maintenance schedule probably right after the regular monthly training session? I don't put much thought into the HD situation other than having something with a light next to the bed. That's why I have a revolver and a pump shotgun in HD duty. No maintenance required unless they are fired and need cleaning.
I am curious as to your findings. At one time their was rumors of LOKI using the Fail Zero coatings on their rifles, bolts or a combination of the two.

Got it in today, Not sure how good it is yet but this think is SEXY lol. It is also slicker than you know what on a gold tooth, Literally. It almost feels like it has a Lube of some sort on it it is so slick.

Well so far not so good. I have never tested this lower so I don't know if it is the lower or the bolt but the bolt wont catch and hold open. It tries but slips off. Maybe the bolt it too slick? lol Any ideas? I am going to try the bolt in another gun at work tomorrow.

PS I know the sling mount is upside down. I just havent got around to changing it since I noticed it.

It definitely gets a thumbs up in the looks cool department. What the hell are you doing in the shitter? I bet you read that do you carry in the crapper thread from OSA today didn't you? LOL!

LOL No actually I didn't. It had the best lighting in my house. So do you think I am gonna blow the end of my rail off with muzzle blast?

Gotta admit - the first thing I thought was wow - what a cute soap dish DubsChops has - oh yea and he's on birth control also...
