Well I have the bullet tray on mine. So my hand is already just "right there" so I just ease it into position with my hand.

I may do the needle bearing thing, but I've found that I don't even really need the buttons doing it the way I do. But you really need to do something, because they sure will sling the powder if you don't.
 
I run a 550 and have read some good fixes/tweaks on BE for those as well. I can honestly say, I came up with one tweak on my own, using my wee wittle pea brain.
 
I just added the needle bearing and washers to mine. I haven't loaded anything with it yet, but I can't tell a difference just by watching it.

I was doing what someone else mentioned about placing my hand on it, but for $10, it'll be nice to not have to worry about it...
