well i am gathering some items to start reloading for 9mm. I have been reloading .40 SW for close to 10 years now as well as .38 special and short colt.

I ended up with a Springfield xd9 tactical and was planning on giving this gun a go in production. I notice there are a few different bullet weights available. the company i normally purchase bullets from have 115, 125, and 147 grain bullets.. what is the typical round you will see on the uspsa production trail?

I'm looking for soft and flat shooting..

I shoot J&K's 147's in front of WST. They are soft soft soft shooting. Now flat shooting is another matter, but good enough for comps. Out of my 9Pro with factory sights they shoot dead on at 7yds, high at 25 and back to dead on at 50. A 6 o'clock hold gets the steel everytime when I remember it.

Most guys use 124 or 147. I like cheap and have bought 115's because you get more bullets for your $.

i haven't shot the gun yet... Im trying to decide if I should just stick with Glocks.. since everything I already have is for Glocks and not to mention Glocks are simple.. I might be looking to trade it for a G35 that was I don't have to deal with loading for another caliber.. all these decisions...

thank you all for the replies...
