Upgrades are the A5 seven position tube with A5 buffer and rifle length spring, Vltor E-Mod stock, Geissele SSA trigger and AAC Blackout 51T muzzle break. I'll be mounting a Bushnell Elite 6500 Tactical 2.5-16X42 scope in a Larue LT-104 mount and for now, a Primary Arms Gen 7 Micro on a Daniel Defense 1 O'Clock offset mount. I can't wait to get it all to gether and get it sorted.

I also have a friend who's trying to score us an agency purchase on some Hornady TAP T2 or Black Hills Mk-262 ammo.

Finally got to shoot it yesterday and I couldn't get it to malf either. Fingers are still crossed tho...

Edit: You'll like that STI. These things shoot awfully soft with WST loads.

Cool. That rifle somewhat inspired my cheapass, frankengun, which you've seen.

I think it should make for a pretty handy rig. Mine is a bit heavier than I'd like...

If you want to get a big part of the soft shooting that a CTR-02 has to offer. Sell your BCG and get their lightened model, an adjustable gas block and a lighter buffer. The rolling thunder comp to top it all off and it will shoot jut as soft as the CTR-02. That lighter BCG and reduced gas makes a world of difference. My 20" Firebird upper shot just as flat if not flatter than my CTR-02 does and it was all JP internals with the best of the best Rolling Thunder leading the charge.
