Vietnam Nam was no joke. My father who did Korea and Nam said it was very bloody and up close.
It kills me to see Vets not being taken care of. We have to wait behind the non-citizens at the VA.

If Jamal Bowman never says another word to the people he addressed we will all be better for it.
We do need to wake up and plan on how we will survive after Trump is done. O am not too old to help carry the torch as long as I am alive. I have and will. Others need to as well. If we are complacent we will cease to exist. F that.

Not sure really. Indiana isn't too far away.Ky or Tenn. But they're being overrun with people, and a lot of them are lib. Bring their bs with them. If it were just me S Dakota maybe Oklahoma maybe somewhere warmer. Just the heck outa Mi. Beautiful state for most part UP is beautiful! Just too many libtards here. Best dream? My own island! Oklahoma or Texas i believe. The girls want to go to A&M, and I need land to shoot my big Barretts. At least two miles. Land is cheaper in OK than TX. Of course I have to consult with my wife who i love.

Here is how I know. When I got shot, see avatar, I was uncool and they put me in a induced coma for ten days. When I was awakened, the drs, who read Luke a post 9/11 no fly just said, "that woman lives you" I being classy asked how the f do you know?
They told me she visited twice a day while I was asleep. I dont know if I could have done that. Gives perspective though.
Love is all you need. And a ton of money.

You are indeed a blessed man. I feel blessed too. Ok gets snow too unfortunately. Apparently all the places I listed do too, go figure. Was 15 today snow off and on. I still like my on island the best lol. There'd be no snow there either! However I'm 71 now and if the Lord allows it I'll be 72 in May. Guess I'm stuck here. Isn't there a song titled Bloom where you're planted? Well I guess I'm a blooming' Hollander then lol.

Bob, I don't know the song, but I do know the saying "home is where the heart is"
You have many hearts that love and need you from what I've read from you.
Where i stand early 70s is not that old. We are not young anymore. Old is when you don't even bother to put your teeth in your mouth and you keep asking whose winning even if there are no sports on.
As long as I keep pulling the trigger I will be young. Not seeing is a whole other matter. Make my range as twice as wide as it is long I should be good though.
I do see snow in western areas of Oklahoma which is probably tolerable as long as the only person I see or want to be around is my bride. No paved roads are fine as long as we have a concrete pad for the life flight bird if ever needed.

I got the seeing thing done now lol. Just recently had cataract surgery can see better than ever. Agree as long as I can still pull a trigger things are good. Thank you for making me see the truth. Appreciate that. Just keep working to keep on keepin' on. Life is too precious to waste. One of the things I appreciate most is folks openness and honesty here. That's not real common anymore. Glad I belong

The island thing is not all it is cracked up to be also. I came from working outside in -30+ winter weather to the Florida Keys for 30 years. It is 62 this morning and we are in winter clothes, Yep it's 62 and we have winter coats and shoes and socks on. My home does not have heat and until you live through a hurricane or 8-10 of them, (the grass is always greener thing). We have a lot of problems down here also.

I live in North Central Oklahoma. Almost to the Kansas state line. We get the occasional snow in January or Febuary, but it isn't much and lasts a day or two, then it's in the 50 or so. Nothing like the Northern states where they get dumped on.
Our biggest issue around here and west into the panhandle is that it's so flat with not many trees. When an inch of snow falls with a wind, we get drifts that can get pretty deep, but again, it lasts a couple of days is all.

Isn't that cataract process something! I didn't know how bad I was till they fixed me. Close to far, and all in between. Good for you.

Remember the second they took that patch off? Color blast :eek: & I still have to wear sunglasses outside the sun is so bright for my 20/20 eyes past 3' damn it's good to see again. I have wet MD & get eye injections every 4 months, compared to the other choice I'll take the shots.
