What's the difference? When, and if, they give these poor folks a gas rebate, they will just make them report it as income, and make them pay taxes at tax time. As usual....what the government giveth, the government taketh away!

Not to mention that they just raised the state gas tax again on May 1st.

Well where do you think they where going to get the money to pay gas rebates?!!

Look at the difference. :eek:
Figures - Commiefornia is even higher than Hawaii.
You would think with transport costs to Hawaii that would be impossible.

$7.00 nationwide by "Independence Day"
We are going to Missouri The end of June. I'm already dreading the gas prices. We are going with three other couples. This is a bucket list trip for one of the spouses who is 76, and dying from 3 or 4 kinds of inoperable cancer. She always wanted to go to Branson. I'm definitely not a fan of traveling, especially with a group, I always feel obligated to go along to get along. I will say this, if it wasn't Miss Bettyjean's trip I would not be going. This was all planned before this gas price crap happened, and I won't back out now, because It is Probably Miss Bettyjean's last trip. The couples we are going with are family. Not in the literal meaning, but in the extended variety. Some times I think extended family is better than blood, lol, but I truly dislike extremely traveling with a group. :-{

We where planning a trip to Tennessee end of July but I'm not so sure now!
Don't get it either because oil right now is $102.41 barrel which does NOT translate into the current per gal prices!!!!
My Aunt Brian (gay uncle) lives in Cali and he just said they're paying over $8 gallon

Thanks @Fjb. Fuel prices here rise almost everyday now. Is it the desire of the left to make certain no one can work, even if they choose too?? I mean pretty soon my retirement job will require too much fuel cost to be a sane choice. WTF??
