Is there anyone on here that has any solid info on what the NFA stand is on folding blades for AR pistols? I want to do another one, in 5.56, ( I have a nice one in .45) and have read about every different article on the validity of different braces that are out there. Do we have a resident gun law guru that might know about sticking a folder on one of these bad boys?? Thanks in advance

Meh.........
a folding mechanism and a blade or brace are two entirely different animals.
A folder, such as the Law Tactical has no restrictions

Bender, I was looking at one of those folding adapters that install forward of the brace. I have mostly heard that it would be legal. Thanks

Have a Law folding adapter coming this weekend. Really looking forward to trying it out and getting at least one compact AR

I have two.....they're awesome. If you decide to run one on a 9mm blowback, there is some compatibility with some of the 9mm bolts

Wish I'd have built a 9mm before all the crazy started. No parts now. Did a .45 and a 5.56. That is exactly what I was looking at. Not sure about prices or availability now. Thanks again for the info.

AR 45, a blast to shoot! (pun intended) That odd looking optic is an Armson occluded red dot w/tritium insert. No batteries needed. That question gets asked a lot. This one is responsible for me running low on .45. I burned a ton through this thing. Reloading is really looking like a part of my future.
Happy shooting

The Law Tactical folder just came today in the mail and got it installed. First impression is it is built pretty stout! I think it'll be perfect for what it will be used for!

And EXPENSIVE.
Maybe I'm cynical, but I've seen the $200 units and the $30 units. They look the same.
Is it possible that they are all made in China etal?

I recently ordered the $30 type and it is a few days out. Looking forward to tryin it out.

I'd be careful with that. Be sure you're not putting a toy or air soft part into a real rifle.

Here's a good Q&A to read regarding some differences and why the actual LAW's made in USA cost more.
