Example of Supply & Demand

I had to go to walmart in stillwater (two stores) and Ponca (one store) yesterday,
There was not one box of .223, 9mm, or .22 rimfire on the shelves.
There was a few .40, and .45ACP left.
I reload, so I didn't partake.

There was .223 in stock at the Perkins Rd Walmart, it was just Tula. I still had I think four full cases of Tula in stock this evening. I've been ordering ammo like crazy for the past month and I think my store is the only one in this area that still has .223 in stock. The four cases will probably be gone tomorrow. I should have several more cases coming in the next couple days. Tula is the only thing I can get right now.

Just as bad out here in Weatherford. I stopped by to pickup some 9mm and all they had were 4 boxes of RWS 124gr FMJ. Almost no .380 and no bulk packs of .22.

I missed that. I was actually looking for Federal .22 rimfire bulk boxes. Steel challenge this weekend, but I do have reserve.
I was actually kind of shocked to see the .40 and .45 still on the shelves. I reload every centerfire I shoot, so wasn't in the market for anything other than rimfire.

Dennis Natchez has a good assortment of Aquila in stock. I usually get my rimfire online by the case. I got a smoking deal on a case of CCI Blazer last year. I'm just about to start on it in earnest. I'm on my last 1K of Fed 510.

Yeah, no .22 LR in stock for the last couple days. I've literally ordered over 100 of those 550 ct bulk boxes but I just can't get them. Finally sold out of Tula .223 today. Sold over 550 boxes in the last two days. For the past month it's all I've been able to get in quantity besides a few boxes here and there of others. I was shocked at how .40 S&W didn't out as well. Still had about a dozen 100ct boxes of Winchester white box and several 50 ct boxes this evening. .45 ACP is pretty much gone except for a case that came in today.

I haven't seen much .22 LR in stock online for a decent price. Did find these American Eagle 500 ct packs in stock, though, if you need to place an order. http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/federal-american-eagle-gift-pack.aspx?a=1047559

I think the supply will catch up in a month or so. Glad I have a pretty decent stash!

I hit four diffrent Walmarts in my travels at work tonight (Weatherford,Elk City,Altus and Hobart) and not one had any bulk pack .22lr and I only saw a couple pf boxes of RWS and some unknown brand of 9mm. I hope this doesnt keep up for much longer or I wont have any match ammo.

It's pretty crazy out there now. It's driven 100% by gun owners.
If they are so desperate for pmags, and are willing to pay $90 bucks for them, why didn't they already have them??
I have a friend that just picked up his FFL. He is trying to get established as a dealer, so one of his first buys was the new frontier polymer lowers. He has to buy so many of them to get distributorship pricing, so I bought one. Thought about using it on the .22 upper.
I was on another forum, and mentioned something about it. Within minutes there were pm's coming willing to double my money.
Unfortunately for them, I buy guns, don't sell them.

I have a New Frontier Armory lower I used for a .22 LR build. Wouldn't mind a couple more. Does your friend have them for a reasonable price? I'd buy a couple if they weren't panic priced.

This is how its been here for the last year or so Im glad prices have come down

Pmags are about $130 here

I'll check with him.

I'm interested in stripped lowers if those are the ones he has. Do you still need .22 LR ammo? I have 240 of the 550 ct Federal boxes on order but don't know if I'll get any of it. Do have 10 325 ct boxes of Federal AutoMatch coming in tonight, though. Not sure how I'd get it to you but if it's still on the shelf when I go to lunch I could pick some up for you.

He has been ordering the full lowers. They jumped in price like everybody else to $170 for the complete lower. He can't get stripped lowers from frontier. Said he might order the full lowers, strip them and save the internals for $35 less if you want to go that way.
I could use a couple of the 550 count. When they come in let me know.

I don't see how people are selling 30 round magazines on ebay their policy states that there can only be 10 round or less mags sold on their site

From them: Magazines with a capacity of 10 rounds or less may be listed. However, the capacity must be stated in the item description, or clearly visible within the images used in the listing. If there are contradicting terms (i.e. 10 rounds or less is stated, but the image shows 15) these listings may also be removed.

eBay prohibits the sale of magazines that accept more than 10 rounds, typically referred to as "high capacity" magazines. These items may not be sold, regardless of how they are described in the listing.

Isn't ebay based in Commiefornia? I wonder if if this policy is somehow related to their high cap ban? But I'm really surprised that they are letting them stand.
