I am trying to find out more about this for our female BoomerShooter members. it sounds like something they would really enjoy but I can't seem to get any info.

I don't know. They seem like a great group and a great cause but I would like to get the word out to our members in case they don't have "The" Facebook nor Twitter
 
I found some more info. The organizer for the Oklahoma City chapter is Lisa Looper of Looper Leather fame and founder of the FlashBang holster

I've joined the AG&AG and it's great!! We meet the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month at H&H from 6pm-8pm, then we go to dinner afterwards. We've had a great turnout so far!!
 
I hope these girls are attending the women's fun shoot at OKC gun club this weekend. They both look like great ways to get more women shooters out on the range.

There were 397 girls at the Womens Fun Shoot Yesterday!! It was a blast LITERALLY!!
 
Really glad to see you had a good time.
We have a similar program in Ponca City. It also sells out early, and mostly to the lady's that have shot one before.

The head of HR at the company I work for has attended twice, and is wanting to advance to learning how to "shoot fast".

I'm thinking our oldest lady is 82 yrs old. Talk about a hoot! She was that person you wanted on your squad. :D Funny as heck..

I'd like to volunteer for the 2013 at the OKCGC as well if things work out with my job schedule.
Watching people evolve from a fear of guns to appreciating what they are designed to do, really makes my day.
 
Fun Shoot INFO---I really enjoyed hearing the women talk about how they wanted to learn how to protect themselves. Many were really wanting to get hands on experience and guidance. It was mostly all men instructors with the exception of a few I saw, and all the men were very friendly and not intimidating at all! It was really a great experience and I hope more "new" women sign up next year. I will not go again just to let someone else have a chance since it fills up so quickly.

AG&AG info---They will be having classes for women only as well. We actually had a womens only NRA Basic Pistol Class 2 weeks ago. It was great!! Basically you just show up and everything is supplied!! They will also be holding women only Conceal Carry Classes, dates haven't been set yet.

Very cool, thanks for the info. Feel free to use BoomerShooter as your advertising. We have a lot of women shooters and most of the men here have a spouse or girlfriend who would go .
 
My wife wants to learn to shoot but I know she won't listen to me. I need to get her to attend one of these events.
 
A Girl & A Gun Club is having another Basic Pistol Class on October 21st from 11-8 at H&H. Registration is limited to 25 students. This is a great class for all levels of shooting..................WOMEN ONLY :)
It's $85 for non AG&AG members & $75 for AG&AG members. Let me know if anyone is interested and I can get you hooked up!!
 
Is this a beginner level class or should they have some experience already?

No experience needed at all!! The last class we had, had a well mix of basic beginners to advanced shooters! We all learned something valuable!! I really felt that we all walked away with my knowledge about safety and preparedness, more knowledge about firearms as well as learning the mechanics of everything involved!! All around great course! No drama just FUN FUN FUN!!
