Supposedly you can use Rit dye to go from light to dark. I'm going to try it I think.

Yes, but it comes off. The dye process (from what I've read) does not.

Don't waste your money on paint for the holes. i have a drill and some bits I will loan you.

If you are going to go to the 3Gun match @ OKCGC this saturday(09/22/12) I have a rifle you can use.
I am going to try to compete for the first time this saturday.
