OKLAHOMA Open/Limited Championship 2012

Just so that everybody knows, Feegee is 100% responsible for the design of the medallion to be put on the Range Master Rowdy trophy's.
He busted his ass to make it right for this match, so I hope everybody gives him a big pat on the back, if not a hug for making this happen.

As soon as we verify the correct spelling of everybodys name, the trophy's will be ordered, and delivered.
Thanks to all that attended!

This was the initial design. It was refined and looks different now. It says "Oklahoma state lim/open championship 2012" hosted by Ponca sponsored by Boomer

Sorry it took so long. We knew we were going out on a limb using the new scoring devices at this match. We understand them better now.

Sent you a PM Scott. I'm listed as shooting major in the scores and I was shooting minor. Pretty sure thats going to change the standings a little and put GT in first for A class limited.

It's in there. I think it is listed as stage 1. The one that got tossed was stage 3 with the spinning death star. Swinging star broke halfway through the match.

Weird - I see it now - On the email that Doug sent out it was not there but I see that it is on the results that Scott posted.

OK - I have a question - I don't mean to be a pain.

On the email that was sent out there are 8 stages. On the posting on here there are 9 stages and they are combined divisions.

Is there any way we can get all 9 stages and separated by division since combined results are unofficial anywho - I just trying to make sure everything is correct for me.

It doesn't matter what you do. you didn't win B Class. take the loss and move on :)

I was actually wondering the same thing also. just thought i was missing something.

Just trying to figure things out - I did beat you on the missing stage - if it was left out I could have won B class ;-P

Everybody "loved" the swinging Texas Star. :D

I was sooooo bad at the swinging star that it achieved RPM's only rivaling airplane propellers, maybe it could'nt take the stress I put on it :D
Too bad everyone didn't get a chance at it.

I believe I have a phobia when it comes to moving targets, anxiety and panic attacks, but it made for great entertainment for squad 5.

I wanted to thank all of the match staff that made this match happen. All of the stages were really fun to shoot and they tested many differnet shooting skills. I was on Squad 3 and we had a great time. Everyone on our squad was awesome to shoot with. We all worked hard to get through the stages efficently and had fun while doing it. You guys have a really nice range in Ponca City and I hope that I can make it back out there for another match some time soon. I didn't get a chance to shoot the "Death Star" stage before it was thrown out due to an activator malfunction. I feel a little envious of the shooters that did get a chance to shoot that stage before it was tossed out. That swinging texas start looked like a lot of fun to shoot. Maybe it will make another appearance the next time you guys have a big match?

Those stages are fairly representative of what the Ponca crew puts on every month. That is a great club and I will continue to make the drive up there for the monthly match as long as they keep putting it on.

I have been working to get everything right on the scores. I will post the stages by division.
Thanks for the kind words. We are trying to put on really good matches.
I have checked the classifications of those that are at the top of their classes. Made a few changes. Here are the class rankings by division. I have uploaded them as txt files instead of html, I hope they are easier to read.

It sounds like there is a lot of interest. Let me talk it over with the other guys. We will see what we can do. If there is, it will be in Nov.

I would like to say a big thanks to Mr. Perez. He helped us out with some ROing duties after lunch. Really helped speed things along and allowed me to get into shooter mode and out of RO mode. That was about the only stage I shot like I know how for the day.

The only thing I ask is that it isn't on a OU home game day. :O

Also, please not on the 2nd Sat...my wife will kill me if I drive back from NASCAR weekend in Ft. Worth for the day just to shoot the match.
