Finally got a chance to shoot it. Around 300 rounds through it today shooting double trap and steel knock downs. Shot Remington sts, Winchester super x, Winchester universal, federal target, and estate (1 oz and 1.125 oz) as well 15 Remington slugs. Basically everything I could find in my gun closet. I had non FTF, FTE, or short strokes/double feeds The slugs shot about a foot high and six inches left at a 100 yards from a bench.

Overall I am very happy with the gun!

Mine shot high with slugs too. I had to put the large shim in the stock to get my face down enough to see just the front sight and not the whole vent rib too. I shoot fiocchi reduced recoil slugs to point of aim now at 50yds. I also ditched the barrel clamp. Good luck with the Mossberg. I love mine. I have put about 1300 rounds through mine so far. 12ga Bird - 1230, 12ga Slug - 47, 12ga Buck - 31. The only problem I've had is some of the Federal bulk stuff has a bulged out crimp, a mushroom tip if you will. I've had about 5 of those jam and not want to feed into the chamber. You can load them in the tube and they usually feed on the second try. Just gotta get the mushroom tip to hit the hole at the right angle, ya dig. Otherwise 100% reliable.

They don't like Winchester Walmart bulk either.

I've only put 150 or so of the Winchester through mine. No problems there. I may not of had a large enough sample to say definitively though. I do prefer Federal for Bulk bird shot.

Mine shot Winchester Universal fine in practice then ripped the rim off during extraction on two consecutive stages. It's the ammo, not the gun.

My 22" JM shoots about 4" high with slugs at 25 yards. I haven't had a chance to put it on paper at longer distances yet.
