Help with uploading an avitar.

I need some help with uploading a new avitar picture. I keep trying to post one up with me and my BoomerShooter jersey on but it says "picture is to large" when it says it could be larger. Do I need to edit the picture to make it smaller or something?

I would edit it and make it a smaller file size. Avatars do not need to be very large.

How can I tell if the pic is 50KB? I have no idea, I just know how to edit 'em.

You should be able to determine the file size by looking at the properties or you may see the file size in windows explorer.

I use Tapatalk on my iPhone to look at Boomer Shooter for the most part. I can change my profile picture and Tapatalk automatically resizes the picture.

They typically have to be under a certain file size, AND height and width limits. IE, under 50kb AND less than 100x100.
