July is SNUBBY MONTH!

Shoot a snub and be eligible for a $50 certificate set aside for snubby shooters only.

You could win two!

I'm in, who else will shoot snubby this Sunday? I've got a couple of holsters and HKS loaders I can loan if someone needs them. They fit a S&W j frame for sure, others maybe in one of them. Heck, I"ve even got a spare J frame you can shoot if you use factory .38 or my reloads (.30 per round). Shannon will be out of town so we don't have to worry about getting beat by a girl.....again. Well....at least not by her.

Oh, if anyone has any ideas for a stage (or two) let me know. Just remember it needs to run smoothly, no multi-strings, 6 shots per position, 18 shots max and it must be straight forward.

If your idea makes a complete stage that'll work AND you set it up, you get $5 off your match fee.

Its not a new idea, but the "sliding target array" that we used at a couple matches was very well received if it wasn't too much trouble to set up?

hmm, would I like it better than my current rig? I'd be curious to see it Sunday.

No, you have the very best.

This is an economy rig that will retail at $35. There is a place/market for it, but the serious, discriminating gun toter probably wouldn't be interested.

We originally used a wheeled carrier that moved laterally across the range......which we still have.....

Look for its return Sunday!

Very cool.

One other stage everyone liked was the simulated "hallway" that we made with tarps and we shot an array of targets at the end of the hallway. A hostage target I think.

How about a scenario? Let's say you're in the Walmart parking lot, when suddenly 2 well dressed males jump from a Volvo and attempt to rob you. You reach to your right hip for your "carry gun" but realize you left it at home in the safe along with all 6 hi cap mags. As you realize you're in deep trouble, some guy walking by sees what's going on, draws his snubby from his pocket and puts 2 rds each in the chest cavity of the misguided young adults. You are forever indebted to him and promise to mow his lawn any day the temps are above 70.

Who's shooting snubby?

or better still........a scenario where 23 zombies are attacking a guy with a snub & you have to save him without any time for a mag change. Then you buy gas for the mower so he can mow your yard.

Who's mowing my yard....oops, I meant shooting snubbie?

I just home from Walmart and I think I saw at least 23 zombies there. I had to go into stealth mode to make it safely to the car.
