High Plains Shotgun Challenge 2012

Please lets keep this match going for the future. I didn't get to shoot it and I'm more than pissed about it.
Having an all shotgun match is beyond awesome, lets get another one going.

I have one suggestion though. I heard a few complaints about there not being a longer course. I guess they just wanted to run. LOL. Not my complaint as my strong suit is standing in one place i can do that with the best of them LOL

I don't know if it could help but I have 80 acres of land to shoot any kind of match you could think of with no one to cat lady about noise or anything. So if anyone ever wants to go out there with me and help me figure out what I should do to ever even get a little match started up let me know.

We should put up a side event next year. Maybe pistol at a skeet rack

Those pictures are really great. Even made me look like a competent shooter.

Also I have to figure out what to do with these AR parts... anyone want to give me the rest of an AR or buy them from me to extend my umm shooting budget?

Maybe I feel a little better now. I wasn't sure why the 3-gun was cancelled until I went to the range to practice Saturday monring only to find a Major shotgun match going on. I'm still bummed about it and now to find out it's not going to be around next year...

the reality is the range at OKCGC is too awesome not to have some sort of a major match like this, whether shotgun or 3gun, we need to make it happen next year...

I say we need to do a little R&D while the match is fresh on our minds. such things as what you'd liked didn't like and suggestions... but what do I know. I'm no match director yet

I really hope ya'll can keep some sort of big match going on this weekend. It's a great waypoint on our yearly trip from Austin to Milwaukee! Hopefully next year I won't hear on the news the day before the match....Oklahoma is preparing for the first heat wave of the season!
