New(ish) from San Antonio

Hi all. Been on the forum for a about a month now and am just getting around to introducing myself. I shoot production mostly in the San Antonio area, but sometimes make the trip up to Austin. I started USPSA last summer with the intent on making good use of a Saturday here and there. Turns out I enjoy the sport as much as I did racing (when I was light enough to be competitive) and jumped in the deep end after a few months.

My plan now is to hit a few majors this year (Space City, Double Tap, Texas Limited and Area 4). Next year I am going to try for a slot at nationals.

When I was at Space City, I saw a few people with Boomer Jersey's. For those of you that were there, I was an RO on Stage 4 - Powerhouse.

Looking forward to seeing you guys at my next major.

Interested in 3 gun, just not yet. There are not too many 3 gun matches around here.

By my math: 3 times the guns = ~5 times the cost :haha:

im with you there. I already spend about 100 dollars a week on ammo.

Its just money, and you can't take it to your grave. Spend it in a casino, or spend it on the range. There isn't a hobby in the world that doesn't take money, and 99.9% of them are a losing deal. I've learned to accept this. Its all about the joy of shooting.

I haven't been out to any of the Corpus matches yet. I plan to once in a while if I can get a small group to carpool out there. It would be fun to hit up some other clubs in the area.
