Ruger Rimfire Challenge Oklahoma State Match on April 14th and 15th, 2012.

I'll be in Pryor around 11am Sunday. Where could a couple of guys get a good lunch?

You'll be done shooting at 11? If so, you'll have your pick as the church crowds won't be out yet. There isn't a lot, to be honest. There is a Chili's if you want a decent chain restaurant. The best local fare is probably the Mid-America grill. The service sucks sometimes but 11 am on Sunday, you should be golden. The famous JL's barbecue isn't open on Sunday's, unfortunately. Las Fuentes is decent Mexican food.
If you are heading back to Tulsa or OKC, you can go through Claremore and eat at Hammett House. They have some good food and great pies for dessert.

If I can dodge the "tarnaders" to shoot the match, I'll need a proxy for the table, since I'll have to be back in OKC to run the Carrygun Match.

Anyone?

I'll proxy for anyone who needs it. Your ticket needs to be there to win, so you'll have to leave it with Robert or meet up with me. PM me for my phone number.

I've spent about $300 to get my guns ready for this match and due to a last minute family development, I can't go.

Dr JJ, I'd really appreciate it if you would be my Proxy. I need 10-22 stuff, barrel/trigger/stock, but I'd be happy with any guns, too!

Seriously, I'd be happy with a $40 bottle of Hoppes.

Sorry about not PM'ing, but not sure how to do that from the phone.

So, you've pre-entered? I haven't and will have to do a walk in.
If every body is busy, Ill proxy, but really don't know how this happens? I've spent a ton of money getting my guns ready as well.

Just wanted to let everyone know the match is still on. Not raining much here but you are shooting under cover so you should not get wet.

Well, Robert won the limited division and overall. Kelly Raglin won the open. I came in 18th in open. Other than sighting in the C-more, that's the first time I had shot with an optic on my pistol, so I was really happy with how I did. I did get my number called on the prize table drawing, but I was way down the list. I got some spinner targets. Two of the guys I was proxy for got called before I did. One got a nice looking reflex red dot sight from Bresser. Never heard of them but it looks decent.

I got one of the Red Dots from Bresser from the prize table as well. I can't find much info about the specific model, but it looks pretty cool. It sucks for both of us to get spanked by a 15 year old girl, but thats the way it goes. (Volquartsen factory shooter)
There were no "squads" but I was shooting in the same crowd as her. She's fast. First in Teen, First in youth, and placed in open, something. Ryan said he would post the overall results.

I liked the come and go format. I'm sure it was long days for the RO'S, but they were still in good spirits for everybody that came by.
Congrats for putting on a great match, and thanks to the RO'S for being such great sports!

My team is sponsored by Bresser. Nice optics for the money. Dirty little secret; they make optics for some of the other big names.

I've shot with Allie and her Dad a few times. Good people, the epitome of a 'shooting family' and she'll be a great USPSA shooter soon. She lives on a shooting range up in MO. Now that Yuth has started a match close to her, she'll be doing a lot more USPSA.
I shot the MO Fall Classic with her...her 'game' needed some work, but she crushed the steel.

I don't even worry about other competitors age or sex. That's something I got over quickly when getting into this sport (not that I ever really had a problem with it). And not that I ever really had a huge ego when it comes to my shooting but there are a lot of women and "kids" that will humble you really quick.

I was amazed at how fast she was. She was also personally mature for her age. I hope that she can keep it up with the distrations of youth that can take one out of the sport.

100% correct.
My first time on the slopes with ski's with 8 year olds blowing by me, made me into a believer in youth. :D

I don't care what sport your in, there is always somebody faster, quicker, whatever. On occasion, its an older person.

I just hope to see her on some TV program in the future.
