What matters is who was listening in and/or read the transcripts. The most important thing is these two fellas can add this to their list of accomplishments and resume'.

We really appreciate you guys logging in and participating. At one point as many as 30 different people were logged in asking questions. He said it is the first time that he has run out of time to answer all of the questions in one of his web chats. That sort of participation shows NewsOK how interested people are in our sport and gets them interested in covering it, which helps us grow it. There will be more to follow on this I am sure.

For those of you that missed the action. Here is the transcript. We managed to get a shout out to BS, Kurt Miller, Keith Garcia, Daniel Horner, and of course everyone's favorite gun smith Accruate Iron. I am pretty sure that was the busiest chat he has ever done. Thanks a bunch guys!

Just read through the transcript and i have to say that you guys are awesome.
i've only been on boomershooter since feb. and i've only shot in two pistol matches (thanks to boomershooter!) so my knowledge of shooting sports is minimal. i simply cant believe the lengths that you guys go to to help out new shooters and improve interest in the sport. its not just you guys either, everyone i have met in the shooting community is extraordinarily helpful and they are all genuinely happy to see a new shooter improve and do well, even if you end of beating them! you wont see that in any other sport! i'm in the process of getting my 3 gun gear together (just need to buy a rifle which i am in the process of doing) so that i can actually get out and do something that looks amazingly fun. (hopefully i'll be at OKCGC for the 3 gun match at the end of april) My experience on here, from start to finish, has made this possible. i can honestly say that, if it wasnt for this forum, i'd never have gotten into these shooting sports.
Keep up the good work gentlemen, shooting sports couldnt have better ambassadors.

Olslyguy, if you want to show up to some matches to shoot but don't have the equipment yet, I guarantee you there are plenty of people there willing to loan you theirs so you can join in the fun.

What he said! I have had offers to loan me pretty much any and all equipment needed for 3 Gun. Sure hope to take them up on it soon!
you are right of course! tons of people have offered to let me use their gear and i greatly appreciate each and every offer. I just feel weird borrowing someone else's gear (even though im more than happy to lend mine out!) so i've just been waiting until i can pull it all together. i should have a rifle in the next week or two and i already have a shotgun and pistol. shouldnt be but a matter of a couple of weeks before i can join you guys.
