The top 10 shot stage six. #10 shot first down to #1 in reverse order. Keith Garcia rdged Daniel Horner out for the $5,000 check courtesy of Stag Arms.

Top 50 isn't easy amongst these guys. I shot my ass off and couldn't keep up with those top 5 guys. They were shooting and moving like their ass was on fire. Wait until you see Pat Kelleys run on stage 6. He shot the stage faster especially the shotgun faster than I think I have ever seen anyone shoot. It is truly amazing watching these guys shoot. It was the first time I had shot with most of the guys on my squad. James Casanova, Kalani Laker, Tommy Thacker, Mark Hannish, Taran Butler, Daniel Horner, Jerry Miculek, Barry Dueck, Adam Popplewell, and Clint Upchurch are all amazing individuals. I was humbled by their professionalism, intensity, and passion for the game. I can hardly wait for the June Pro Series match.

I saw the 3 gun nation episode with Clint Upchurch & was very impressed.
He was 100% full throttle. I just remember thinking holy crap that dude's fast.

So JT, how many of those guys did you get to join us here at boomershooter.com

You guys shot great! Really glad I got to meet you in person and the match was crazy fun to watch. As you say, the talent in this field is as good as it gets. I was in awe. Just wish you guys had better weather (it had been perfect all week long - go figure). Going to start making plans to get to the next match in GA.

Here's a shot of Jesse talking to a camera. I managed to get a bunch of shots of the squad and put 'em up on a Facebook album.

Clint is definitely one of the best. He usually shoots Open so picking up iron sights and hand loading shotguns isn't easy for just anybody.

Man it was great to meet you too. Too bad we couldn't get together for beers. Next time for sure.
Jesse, Tell the honest truth now:

Did all of the cameras bother you during the match?

The cameras didn't bother me at all. They put a mike on you all day which I didn't realize was recording even while doing and saying things I am ashamed of:(. What did bother me was the crew was working 2 squads, each squad had 4 Shooters on it that were muced up. So our squads four shooters myself, Kalani, Mark Hannish and Tommy Thacker had to shoot 1st thru 4th on every stage. Then the camera crew would jump to the squad ahead of us s d catch the 4 mixed up Shootets who shot 8th-12th. So the least experienced guy being me had to lead the super squad rather than sit back and watch and learn. There were at least 3/5 stages I would have shot differently had I watched Daniel or Taran shoot ahead of me. The camera guys aren't ever in your way they just get film and ask your take in the stage afterwards. Film you loading mags and just regular filler stuff. BS about the stage breakdowns etc. I have to really watch my potty mouth which is tough!

Tarans hair was impeccable!!! The weather and the delay sucked but It was a great event to attend. 3 Gun couldn't pick a better spokesman than Mark Wills. A class act. Good shooting Jesse, just next time, can you wait for the stage brief before you take off walking the stage!! hahaha! The RO was beside himself! LOL

Congratulations Jesse, That is a tough crowd to be in shooting wise. Don't worry about the "Hot Mic" they would never use that, no really ever ever! Just like Scouten said to me the one time! You did very well and anytime you can be infront of most those guys is good shooting!

Quick question if you know. How was Jerry loading shotgun? I have been working with him on weak-hand, and he said he would try it at the match, but I also know he sometimes says one thing and then re-thinks it. Thanks

Ha! I don't listen to stage briefings, stage briefings listen to me;)

I believe that was taken from something similar says by Kelly Neal.
