I just got my new Sig P226 that I plan on running in Production Division. I had a Blackhawk Serpa for the USP as well as my 1911 and have used both in competion and had no problems. I was wanting to know what any of you guys have used so I can get a good idea as to what other option that I have out there before I get me a new holster.

I'm also not partial to the serpas. I have two that were given to me and while they don't suck but they aren't a good choice either. Check out the link Chambers posted, I have three triple crown holsters and they kick ass.

Actually I am glad he Chambers posted that link. I have seen these a few times and thought they where either blade tech or comp tac. These definitely look high quality and are priced far more reasonably.

Triple crown is both an amazing product and local. Doesn't hurt that troys a great guy too. I own one and will be looking into a M&P one next. Now just to decide covert/overt or the competition model...

Before I saw a Triple Crown holster in person I thought that they would be just some crap that a guy made in his garage and that people here bought them because a forum member made them.

Then I got to handle one at a match and the quality was equal to or greater than the more expensive Comp-Tac belt holster I have. I currently have a Triple Crown holster on order for my 1911.

Also Troy has a pretty good sense of humor regarding goofy special orders. I will be doing a thread on my hilarious 1911 holster from Triple Crown after I get it.

Recently picked up first Triple Crown Holster for my son's M&P Pro.

Very high quality, best Kydex I have seen. Hmmmm, wonder if son will notice if I hand him my Comp-Tac and keep the Triple Crown for myself????

How is this for an endorsement - I have two guns which Triple Crown doesn't have a mold for, but the owner, Troy Fulbright, said he is more than happy to build holsters if I will drop the guns off to him, which I am going to do. Sure, it would be easier to order a Bladetech, but they are not as good from a quality perspective, and why wouldn't someone want to support a local shooter who is also LEO and a small business person building a great product for about the same price as the large faceless mass builder?

I have a Blackhawk SERPA CQC for my P226, and I've had zero issues with it at all. Been about 8 months and no problems what so ever. Fits me really well too since I have monkey arms, and need it at a specific height and angle.

Here's the link to mine: http://www.blackhawk.com/product/SERPA-CQC-wMatte-Finish,1145,1410.htm

Comes with both the paddle attachment and the belt-loop one. I prefer the paddle.

Just my $0.02.

A buddy and i have a few of the Triple Crown clear holsters on order. I have used both Blade-Tech and Comptac Glock holsters in IDPA/USPSA shooting and dont really prefer one over the other. I dont know why, but i just loved the look of those clear Triple Crowns!
