I am looking at getting a drum mag for my Bingham PPS-50 and maybe my SR-22. I have tried ProMag drums in the past. They suck. Have any of you guys used the Black Dog drum mags? Thanks

Is there a secret to loading the damn things. Mines a pain to fill up.
I actually hate to say this, but I was guilty the first time I tried to load mine.
As I pressed bullets into it, it got so hard that I wanted to throw the dammed thing into the trash.
Then noticed the slot in the back where the finger can be put to preload the mag to insert bullets with no effort at all.
If one missed a slot you will get a fail to load, and have to rack the slide to get the next one in.

Mine is a pain to load too GT. I knew to unload the spring, but I still miss slots on occasion. And Dennis mine has never done that. The spring moves the rounds fast enough to feed the next round even if I've missed a couple in a row. At least in mine.

I think Jesse has the best idea. Just buy enough of them to shoot the whole match so you don't have to reload them. 'Cuz they don't load near as fast as they unload. :P

OP mine runs great, I need a couple more at least.
