Signup: Starts 5:30pm Shoot at 6:00pm

Match Type: Handgun, Tactical Action. Emphasis on Carryguns and holsters. IPSC rules with TIME PLUS scoring.
Stages: Four (typically)
Round Count: 72 rds required.

Equipment: Practical guns .380 or larger, carried in practical gear. Holster (required) must cover triggerguard. Two spare magazines or 2 speedloaders will get you thru any stage. No shoulder holsters or cross-draw rigs. No Race guns or gear.

Rules: Basically, IPSC rules with TIME PLUS scoring.

Divisions:

Low Cap: = 10 rd mags or less. (you may load magazines down for this division)
High Cap: = 11 rd mags or more (load 'em up!)
Revolver: = any revolver, barrel length 2.26" or longer, any capacity.
PDLL: = Ported (like the Glock "C" models) Dot (like the Optima red dot) Lasers and gun-mounted Lights. If your 5-shot J-frame has a laser, it'll compete in this division.
SubCompact: Semi-autos with barrels 3.5" or shorter.
Snubby: 5-6 shot with 2.25" or shorter barrels.
OTHER: IPSC Limited/Production Gun/gear shoot in this Division (equipment placement rules like Production/Single Stack)

22 Rifle or pistol: Bring your .22 AR or your tactical 22 pistol and have fun with them also

Prizes: YES! $50 Heartland Outdoor Gift certificates!
Awarded randomly! Must be present to win.

Limited to first 40 shooters!

Cost: $20: $10 for a second gun

(active military and full-time Law Enforcement ½ price)

i have a snubby but havent shot it much, in fact, i bet it doesnt have 30 rds through it. i need to get a holster, if i do, i'll bring it. hmmm, dont have any speed loaders though...

I've got a belt holster, appendix carry holster, and maybe one or two others. Got speed loaders too, be willing to let you borrow any of them if you want to shoot snubby.

thanks! you must be dyin for some one to beat up on! i'm your huckleberry. i've been meaning to get a holster so i'll grab one this week, i'll take you up on the speedloaders though! gonna have to give me a quick class on the best way to use em i'm afraid...never used em before.

be great if we could get a few more snubbys to shoot...

does anyone have any 5 round 44 special moon clips?? then i could shoot concealed!!
or i could use my xdm holster on the inside my fat boy pants and, my sweet plaid fishing vest :O

Better watch out there Sparkman, those magnets on the holster rig might catch on your car and keep you caught in the parking lot while the rest of us shoot. You could alway load that David Berkowitz .44 with single rounds from your pocket. How would you reload it if you carried it?

I'm going to shoot my snub twice this time, once with laser and once without. Appendix carry concealed and compare the times and hits of both. A good match to do something like this just to see what might work best in a self defense situation.

thatll be interesting. wonder which way yoiull shoot better. i'm also gonna shoot my regular carry pistol. see which one i like better.

Feegee, I have an IWB "Contour" rig I made for the XDm that you can borrow....

I can make a snubby holster, too. AND I have speedloaders.
