Thx Jesse is that a public range or is it membership type range.

Would love to get me a nice entry level AR but have not due to not haveing a good place to shoot. Again thank you for the welcome.

Indian Territory is a membership type range. Basically you pay $100 per year + 2 work days and you get a key to come and go as you please(no night shoots unless Glenn authorizes it). Currrently we have a few matches to choose from:

1st Sunday of every month - Steel Challenge
2nd Saturday of the month - IDPA
3rd Saturday of the month - USPSA/IPSC

The IDPA match is this coming Saturday. Come on out around 10am and take a look at the range. If you can't get out this weekend call Glenn(number is @ www.itpsc.net) and make an appointment to meet him during the week and he will take you and show you around.

That sounds cool! I am new to shooting. Never shot competition. Weekends would be hard I work most weekends only off one weekend a month. I might be able to sneak out there for a hour or two Saturday. I am very interested in this. Thank you very much for the invite.

We specialize in new shooters at ITPSC. Well we have 3 weekends a month that you can make a match here, and the best part about our membership is it doesnt matter what time or day of the week you wanna shoot(as long as its not nightime) you have a key so DOET!!

Just for a little more incentive:

The range features 5 normal (25yd) pistol bays, one large (50yd) bay and a 500 meter rifle range. A lot of people pay just for the opportunity to shoot on the rifle range because its hard to find a range that has one as large as ours anywhere near here.

That's true not having an a safe long range to shoot has limited me to choice of fire arms I buy. I have a membership to the local indoor pistol range here but its only pistols. I handled and shoot a mossin nagant a while back and really liked it but again was limited to about 30 yards. This really does seem to be the answer for what I needed.

And to address that your range specializes in new shooters is good to hear. I'm not bad with a rifle. But I'm not punching two inch groups with my pistol not even close. I have been iching to let a skilled shooter to run a few rounds through my 40 just to see what its capable of. I have never adjusted the sights because I'm not sure if its off or if my aim is incorrect. My first pistol.

One more question what does the + two work days mean?

The range ownership sets "work days" a couple times a year. Its easy stuff, mostly involving cleaning up. You need to attend 2 a year or your membership price raises.

That really wouldnt be a problem as long as its a weekend and i would know in advance. I really would like to go this weekend to check it out. Hopefully ill know the scheduale for this week by the end of the day.

Be sure to take your gun and ammo. I haven't been to very many matches that an "interested observer" was turned into an "active participant".

Thats scary. I have only bought my first pistol and been shooting for two months. Really though I have to work Saturday evening so if I can make it and weather permitted ill only have a hour or two to look around and maybe get to be a spectator for a little while.
