skinny muffs

when i shoot 3gun with my AR and titan comp i need to double up, but my muffs are way too "fat", i need some muffs that are "skinny" so i can get my head down to aim... don't care about electronic or the ability to hear, just how much noise they block... any suggestions.. thanks

Skinny muffs won't have the best nrr rating. You're going to need to double up with them shooting your comped rifle. I like the cheap Howard Leight Impact electronic muffs ($60) with my custom molded plugs inside. They work fine doubled up and the electronics still allow you to hear. I buy mine from the local Cabelas store so if they crap out, I just take them back and get a new pair.

If you don't want electronic, there are plenty of slim muffs out there designed for the clay shooters.

I think so. And they are skinnier at the bottom
