Hey thanks guys!!! I still haven't seen it. I guess it was playing in the Venetian and Palazzo hotel TV's all week. I got a bunch of grief from my 3 gun buddies that I saw at the show.
It was really cool making that deal. It took about 5 takes for Michael and I to get it laid down. 4 minutes is a long time to talk without getting tongue tied!!! The more takes you do the harder it gets because you keep trying to remember what you want to say them each time you screw up you try to remember NOT to say that again. Lol!
It was my first time doing this sort of thing in front of a camera without the red record light covered. I bet y'all didnt know that the Outdoor Channel owns a production company based out of Tulsa. So Michael Bane and all the other great folks that had a spot on SHOT tv flew into Tulsa to record their spot. I'm guessing that's why Mike Seeklander and the great folks at USSA get so much coverage on the Outdoor Channel.
I changed the thread title to something a little more appropriate.
I almost forgot to give some props to my mentor Kurt Miller who was key in getting me started in all this exciting stuff. Seeing the way Kurt approaches the game we play and life in general is inspiring. Hopefully someday I can be that good at it all.
dude speaking on camera is NO JOKE. it looks easy when you are watching but when you try to do it, well that is a different story, considering public speaking is a greater fear for americans than death, i would say you did fine!!!
