7.62x39 AR platform

I didn't get back into my office this afternoon to place the order so you have until Monday to get me money. They are ready to run when u get them. Should come with a 10 round Mac that's easily converted to a 15 rounder.

One bad thing about the 5.45x39 spam can ammo is that you can't run a nice light competition trigger and get 100% ignition on those hard primers. My JP needs to be changed out to the red springs.

If you like 7.62x39 they make a pretty good rifle built to run like a champ on that. I forget the name, it's on the tip of my tongue.......

Please, unless Ruger has changed their line the minis are great for what they are but are prone to heating up quick. A bud had to have one and after a group the rifle starts shooting a lot less happily. Though if it is the spray and pray at close range and the target is big enough; then you have mags to find which you can but it might take a bit. I was less than happy when what I had heard and read was proven with my buddies mini 30.

The rifle in question I believe was AK as in 47 or it's older brother which I freaking can not think of right now. Which both are cheaper than a build and designed to eat junk ammo 24x7x365.

Sorry, but minis don't set well with me and the mini 14s - I have two buds that have/had them. Both have switched to ARs. One found out plinking around the other trying to play at 3-gun. Before the cool ARs and multi-gun, minis were not held in high regard except by the the A-Team :85:

Brian - you see what happens when you mention mini anything... It takes a very great and powerful being to ever wield a 47 AK especially in any match.

Jerry, do you think you could handle one of those? I am not sure I know anyone brave enough...

Those Samozaryadniy Karabin sistemi Simonova have cool switchblade bayonets. Wonder if you get bonus points for stabbing paper targets. Imagine trying to reload those in the middle of a stage.

Brian, you rock!

Well all know the U.S military switched from manly rifles like the M14 down to the M-16 because men were not men of yesterday lol/ Heavy metal?

There are light wt stocks and rails that can be put on an have your AK set up about like an AR today - not as light of course.

Me? A stage or two is all I can get done now with any gear. Back in the day I would had taken offense and carried two lol.

I think if one wants to go with a 30 than an AR-10 platform in 308 and the AKs in 7.62x39 which have a following in the security arena, but not a mini for serious fun or work.

Hey just me yakking because I have nothing better to do.

Oh those little fellas in the jungles handled the AKs fairly well - you know the ones half the size of the American.

I posted a link to this earlier - if money was no object - I'd have me an RSASS - Remington Semi Auto Sniper System - it's an AR platform 20rd magazine and very capable of sub moa at 800+ yards

I may be one of the biggest if not the biggest 7.62x39 lover ever !!!

Give Harrison Beene a call - AR15Perf. He may or may not build one, but I can say that his products shoot very well. he's built a 6.8spc and a 7.62x39 for me.

Just another potential option.
