Blackbeard......Got your message and I don't see anything on the forum to talk about gun safes. I"ll be happy to chime in if I know where to go. Thanks.
I am a USAF Veteran and a retired Ft. Worth Police Sergeant. I attended Cylinder and Slides Custom 1911 class and learned directly from Bill Laughridge himself. I only thought I knew about 1911s until I spent 6 days with him. I returned home and started building great custom 1911s. I now spend time with my wife traveling and once again returned to the 1911 bench,
My daughter is now using it for trap with the 30" full choke. She messes with the guy when she tells them that this model 37 is a repeater and she can slam fire it. They don't believe her, then she will slam fire it.
Bob:
I used a M37 with the 20" deerslayer barrel as my squad weapon and had the mag 10 20" in the trunk, just in case!
but the model 37 came with a 30"ribbed full choke barrel. Ithaca back then didn't have a 18.5" for it, that is how I ended up with the 20"deerslayer.
