I would like to sell my Vietnam Era M1917 Trenchgun Bayonet. The M1917 bayonet is manufactured by Canadian Arsenals Limited and is rarer than the General Cutlery bayonets or so I have been told. I know a few years a go there was a rash of these that show up but they seem to have dried up again. I have owned this one for a very long time and purchased it many years ago when I was actively involved in collecting US martial arms. It is complete. It is not pristine and I am not representing it to be , it has nicks in the blade , it has wear and in the finish, and was most certainly from the looks used in combat. It has the CAL logo in the right location and a faded white paint DAS acceptance stamp as well. The scabbard has the black DAS acceptance stamp on it as it should have. This is an honest issued. M1917 trenchgun bayonet. Not the more common rifle bayonet although this will indeed fit a rifle though it is not correct for the Enfield. Included in the sale are a nice condition M1956 butt pack and a set of M1956 suspenders.

If you have been looking to buy one of these to fill the hole in your collection then this will do it till you find one of the pristine ones that the CMP released a few years ago , if not there is nothing wrong with this one as a representative example in any event. Not perfect but not beat to hell either and it has the BTDT character also.

$200 for the whole lot shipped USPS priority mail. insurance is extra.

The reason I am selling is to help offset the cost of staying at the hospital when the wife has to do chemo therapy

first I will take it owns it.

Items sold as is and described accurately.

That pack is super awesome, I really like it a lot. Any chance of it going separately?

1st Pattern M56 buttock and M56 suspenders has been SPF to Adam. The M1917 trench gun bayonet is still for sale. I cannot stress enough how rare these bayonets really are guys. This is one of the more rare US military blades made. It is not a reproduction rather a genuine M1917 enfield bayonet produced specifically because there was a shortage of original pattern WWI bayonets. I will entertain a reasonable offer on the bayonet or consider a trade item if it is something I can convert to cash.

Thanks

Thanks Hefe! Really looking forward to getting that thing. I've got a secret army bag fetish. :)

And I really hope things work out with your wife. I can't in a million years having to go through that with my wife. I get a huge hole in my heart just thinking about it.
