WTS 24" Salient Arms Benelli M2 purpose built 3 Gun Shotgun
Up for sale is a used Salient Arms Custom built 24" Barrel Benelli M2 Field Shotgun with Comfortech Stock. Â Gun has a +5 extension. Â It will hold 8+1+1. Â Thats 8 in the magazine, 1 in the chamber, and 1 ghost loaded on the carrier. Â Salient used a rugged steel magazine tube from Dave's Metal Works as well as a DMW mag tube barrel clamp. Â The gun has a lightened bolt carrier which speeds up the cycle time drastically making it next to impossible to get the hammer to follow in this gun. Â Â The bolt release button has been drilled and tapped so that an Arredondo Oversized release tab could be installed. Â The void in the end of the shell carrier has been welded up, extended and tuned for reliability. Â Anyone that's ever tried to load a Benelli fast and has had their thumb get stuck between the carrier and receiver knows this option is a must have. Â Â The sharp edges inside the barrel shroud have been smoothed to increase reliability. Â Lastly the loading port opening that's been opened up, smoothed out then polished up so that you can load this gun much faster with less wear and tear on your thumb than a stock gun.
Gun has approximately 2,000 rounds through it but it looks like less. Â The stock, forearm, and barrel are in great condition. Â The receiver shows some wear from practicing loading the gun and from using it in a several matches. Â I'll post pictures later today.
I am asking $1400 OBO. I can deliver it to OKC gun club with a box of free shells Saturday morning.
