I need some help. I've been asked to help a friend sell a rifle (mentioned in subject). They rifle is in excellent condition. I am a little confused when I was looking up the value for the rifle and wanted to see if anyone could help.
Serial number is 218867. This means a 1956 production. The barrel states Model 94, but the serial number means it's a 1894. Were the pre-1960 production labeled this way?
