What type of washer do I need?

Once I get the answer, I invite mods or admin to delete this post because we are getting pretty close to the end of the internet, but I didn't want to hijack someone else's topic. I bought a Rolling Thunder comp, but forgot what kind of washer I was told to get to mount it. I messaged the fella who sold it to me, but maybe the answer will come sooner (Get it, many of you are Okies and I said "sooner", get it? Yes, I'm just that clever.) from this site. Can anybody help me?

A crush washer will work, but you can use a peel washer for a cleaner fit.

How do you still find tin foil, Jared? All I can find is aluminum foil for my hat, which requires three times the thickness.

You should be able to find great deals on crush washers via Amazon.com. I didn't care for peel washers. They're effective, but on my rifle they stuck out. Looking rough didn't matter, but they did slice me a few times.

Somewhere KurtM posted that using high temp loctite was a superior method for mounting a rifle comp.

I've not tried it yet but will on my next build.

Okay, now the dumb question (fine, "another" dumb question); Which way do I turn the comp to remove it on a Stag AR? I assumed it was reverse threaded since it has a right hand twist, but am I wrong?

Edit- Nevermind. It's standard. Disregard.

I have found that sometimes a crush washer will not allow the muzzle device to clock in the desired position. When this happens, I lay sandpaper on a piece of glass and rub the flat side(s) of the crush washer until I get the desierd thickness.
