Found in Tex. I don't think its that uncommon. I know a guy that saw two locked up on Kaw lake. One was dead, and the other nearly dead. Archery season, so he shot the one still alive and tagged both. Had them mounted like he found them.
Captain Tracy Daniels of the ODW was on the front page of the PC news last year when 2 bucks got locked up in a residential neighbor hood. He had to saw an antler off to free them.

WOW that was insane!
My pic and your link, as well as some youtube vids I've seen always seem to have them close to water. Probably doesn't mean anything, but it does make one think.

I had a buddy send me a pic from a friend's place near Inola last year. He had 2 nice bucks he found dead that were locked up. Sticking with the common theme, he found them in the pond.

As I was headed to Vernon Texas, i saw two hooked up on the red river bottom, I kinda thought of the Red river rivalry! I don't know the out come but I would say the one from Oklahoma won that one! But it could be that I am Bias!
