Went to see my grandkids in Idaho and we spent 2 days shooting sage rats (ground squirrels). We whacked close to 1000 in the 2 days with the whole family shooting. High point was my grandson (10) and 2 granddaughters (15 and 18) shooting them with my AR's and my Bob Marvel 22 1911. Took a couple friends with me on the trip and we had a blast (pun intended).

That looks fun! Nothing like getting the family out to do some shooting. I've got to get out west one of these days and do some prairie dog shooting. I've heard from the game ranger out there that people come from all over the country come to the Oklahoma panhandle for that.

We go to Miles City, MT for the Prairie dogs. The rancher in Idaho has what he call an infestation of ground squirrels. He does too. Never saw so many mounds over thousands of acres.

LOL! Would that actually work?! Needs a close up GoPro too...
Oh yeah it works. I saw a video of a gallon of tannerite going off when about a dozen pigs came in to a feeder. Wiped them all out.
