I have got to be one of the lowest B class production shooters at 59.73%. Technically not B but I was bumped for placing 2nd C class at the 2009 Area 4 match.

USPSA used to publish a ranking of shooters by % in each class. Has anyone seen that list lately?

Yeah, I was the top "B" in production for a while. I wondered what that translated to overall. Probably about 5000th or so. haha

Yeah, that list was fun. It disappeared when USPSA updated the website.

That is weird, the USPSA classification system is quirky sometimes...I was 1st C in that same match and I didnt get a bump. It was several months later that I classed up the conventional way. Maybe they had you confused with the other Jesse, the one that made Master long before achieving anywhere near 85%...

You might have beat the slow bump system. It takes 4-5 months for the bump to get handed out. Just enough time for a sandbagger like me to rape and pilage at all 8 area matches.

Yeah the fact that someone could do that is terrible. It is almost like the bump system and the classification system is a complete joke.


Me being the standup guy that I am haven't shot another Area match since. I would hate to be mistaken for a sandbagger!


Maybe I should shoot Area 4 in Production this year to see if I can get 2nd place B this year.
