Weaver vs. Isoceles

Crazy Ronny! Long way from the Route County Sheriffs Department! The message is good, and I know guys who can make you look stupid who shoot Weaver. Matter of fact I still use a very dynamic push pull, although I have allowed the old left arm to come up a bit. I know I'm doing it all wrong, but I cant seem to change. I hope I can get good with a pistol someday.....maybe a class with crazy Ron?

Maybe he can teach you to use a smirk when you shoot like in the video. :onthequiet:

In my opinion, the most important part of shooting accurately is to keep the muzzle of the gun steady. Everything done by the holder of the gun goes towards that goal.

Obviously someone that practices more than another will be a better shooter. If two people practice the same amount and one uses a teacup and the other uses thumbs forward, I'd bet my money on the thumbs forward guy being better.

I doubt I use either! maybe when I'm just standing there shooting a bullseye I get close. The method I use is what seems to work for me, what it is I have no idea, do I make "A" zone hits everytime? NOPE if I stop and get all lined up I can make those hits BUT it takes a mess of time.

There are all sorts of ways to shoot, what's the best way? the one that works for you! Later,

Kirk

Now, now, now, Weaver is a far cry from "tea cupping" and given the same amount of practice you will get identical results with either.

I think Benjamin is onto something with this gangsta style shooting.

This is like the cover of a gun magazine from the 80s. Next month revolver vs 1911 vs wonder nine

Wonder 9??? I wonder if it will knock over this steel? Or is that more fuerte than a 45 reload?

When I said same results with either I ment Weaver or Tea Cup.

actually i wish this guy would do a comparison of weaver vs. isosceles.. he actually uses science better than anyone i have seen before, below is the most conclusive tests i have ever seen on the AR vs. AK debate, don't really think anyone could argue with the results...
