I picked up a PPS in .40S&W a week ago, and would like suggestions for a holster. Not too common a gun, and I've got some lead time waiting on Troy to make me a holster. I picked up this cheap Looper thing that is pretty good, but I'd like something that has a buffer between the slide and my skin, like a Crossbreed or something. Anyone use the Comp-Tac IWB?

Gun shoots fantastic, and recoils just like my 2011 actually. Really weird for such a thin and light gun. Heavy trigger, but not truly awful like an old RG revolver. I was surprised to see how much of a Glock copy it is in the inside. Maybe that makes it that much better. Surprisingly my long-loaded .40 rounds fit the mag and cycled just fine, except they wouldn't eject as live rounds due to the excess length catching in the ejection port. Standard length live rounds ejected fine. I really like it and will buy another in the future.

Because there could be something better that I don't know about. The world of guns is brimming and overflowing with false, outdated, and/or inaccurate information. There are other PPS owners on this forum who might have good input.

I have sold several to friends. They all end up using the crossbreed or the galco knock off. That is a nice little smoke wagon by the way.
