Thanks to everyone for their input on 1911 grips. I choose VZ Operator II in Black Cherry.

I got the slim cut so now my 1911 better fits my little Polish hands, and I can more easily reach the mag release. I put some rubber tape on too.

Now my pistol fits my hands really well and feels like it is velcroed to them! I am not going to loose my grip now. These updates should improve my shooting.

Cheers

Kevin

Look good. Why do you have green slime in your magwell?

Some guys paint a marker inside the magwell to draw their attention during mag changes. If I remember correctly, I read somewhere that this practice is no longer legal for USPSA in the non-open divisions.

I was painting my nails and handled the piece before they were dry.

not really. I painted as Wall stated above; to facilitate mag loading. I will look at the rules for single stack USPSA. I might not need the attention grabbing paint now that I am soooooo experienced.

And I ordered directly from VZ.

I could be wrong about it no longer being legal, I just remember reading it somewhere
