I just rough zeroed mine today, and it is just excellent. Perfect 1x, crystal clear glass. The illumination is way better than most low power variable scopes, but not as good as a red dot scope. It made it easy to see the center dot on different target types/colors by switching around from black(no illumination), to red, to green. I used a different target style and color at each range of 50 yds, 100yds, and 200yds. Easy to shoot good, repeatable groups, and much essier to shoot a good group at 200 than a red dot. Mine is the Spitfire AR. Did not install the BDC cap yet, but need another trip for a precise 100yd zero in order to make that useful, and shoot at 300 and farther. Today I was just playing around with it.

The Spitfire AR is also on sale for $249 on optics planet. With a code from Jesse it wouldn't be that much more for the added features.
