This systematically designed course will teach basic marksmanship principles that will cover all fundamental aspects of operating a rifle. New shooters, young shooters, and experienced shooters will all benefit from this program designed to teach or refresh a student on the basics of shooting as well as the safety aspects of shooting. Other aspects of the course include; safe gun handling, nomenclature, tips on how to most effectively clean the rifle, home firearm safety, dry-fire and live-fire practice and much more. This is a great course for families or a refresher for those wishing to take other advanced level USSA courses. Whether your goal is to improve your gun handling for self-defense before taking Tactical Rifle or giving yourself a solid foundation to build on for competition related skills in Practical Three Gun, we have you covered!

Gear/ Ammunition Requirements
- A Semi-Automatic Rifle (Please specify on your course registration sheet if you need to rent a rifle for the course)
- A minimum of 2 magazines for the rifle (Included in rental fee)
- 300 rounds of ammunition (we sell most calibers of ammunition and can have some there for you if you'd like)
- Eye protection (sunglasses are fine)
- Ear protection
